Driscoll TopHay is seeking a Forklift Operator:

• Load and unload hay in a safe, efficient, responsible manner, recording all necessary paperwork and taking required pictures.
• Conduct operations in a behavior that promotes a safe environment. This will include looking in the direction of travel, wearing a seat belt, driving at appropriate speed, and appropriate use of the horn as examples.
• Efficiently transport and stack pressed hay into rail cars or to storage areas using proper equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance, safety checks of equipment, and routine cleaning to ensure smooth operation of the forklift. Report any damage and/or needed repairs to supervisor.
• Ensure forklift is properly stored, fueled, cleaned and ready to operate at the end of your shift.
• Additional experience driving trucks and trailers preferred to move product around yard.
• Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Individual needs to be highly independent, but also able to work effectively as a team.
• Sweep and clean facility as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour
